Lithium Americas shares gained another 6.9% in overnight trading after soaring 140% in two days. The shares jumped 22.6% on Thursday and soared 95.8% on Wednesday. Reuters reported that the Trump administration is seeking up to a 10% stake in the miner.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a new round of punishing tariffs, saying the United States will impose a 100% tariffs on imported branded drugs, 25% tariff on imports of all heavy-duty trucks and 50% tariffs on kitchen cabinets.
