Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.21%
Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Real Estate and Distributors sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were S2M (CSE:S2M), which rose 8.10% or 17.00 points to trade at 227.00 at the close. Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) added 7.68% or 112.00 points to end at 1,570.00 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) was up 7.50% or 7.95 points to 113.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included CTM (CSE:CTM), which lost 4.43% or 29.70 points to trade at 640.00 in late trade. Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:SNP) declined 4.24% or 20.70 points to end at 468.00 and M2M Group (CSE:M2M) shed 3.85% or 22.00 points to 550.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 23 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.27% or 3.78 to $68.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.13% or 3.88 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 1.00 to trade at $2,753.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.13% to 10.67, while USD/MAD fell 0.35% to 9.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 104.05.
