Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.32%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Chemicals and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.32%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which rose 3.32% or 21.00 points to trade at 653.00 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 0.95% or 15.00 points to end at 1,593.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 0.76% or 1.00 points to 132.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which lost 2.42% or 3.30 points to trade at 131.10 in late trade. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.82% or 5.00 points to end at 269.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) shed 1.45% or 13.00 points to 883.80.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 52 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.11% or 1.48 to $71.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.98% or 1.47 to hit $75.85 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.45 to trade at $2,754.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.96.
