Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.31%
Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Chemicals and Oil&Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which rose 5.88% or 2.00 points to trade at 36.00 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) added 4.99% or 73.00 points to end at 1,535.00 and Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) was up 3.62% or 51.00 points to 1,458.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Auto Hall (CSE:ATH), which lost 2.72% or 1.90 points to trade at 68.00 in late trade. S2M (CSE:S2M) declined 2.30% or 4.95 points to end at 210.00 and Sanlam Maroc SA (CSE:SAH) shed 2.29% or 44.00 points to 1,875.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 27 to 17 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.07% or 0.75 to $70.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.02% or 0.76 to hit $75.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 4.05 to trade at $2,752.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.13% to 10.69, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 103.86.
