Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.67%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.67%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.03% or 4.00 points to trade at 134.40 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.56% or 265.00 points to end at 10,600.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.46% or 3.20 points to 131.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which lost 1.32% or 40.00 points to trade at 2,980.00 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.15% or 9.20 points to end at 787.60 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) shed 1.09% or 4.90 points to 444.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 58 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.62% or 0.44 to $70.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.51% or 0.38 to hit $74.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 15.85 to trade at $2,745.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 104.07.
