Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.76%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil&Gas, Healthcare and Personal&Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.76%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.39% or 345.00 points to trade at 10,525.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.30% or 325.00 points to end at 10,170.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was up 2.03% or 16.00 points to 804.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which lost 2.14% or 14.00 points to trade at 639.00 in late trade. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 1.51% or 48.00 points to end at 3,132.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) shed 1.30% or 1.70 points to 129.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.52% or 1.78 to $68.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.36% or 1.76 to hit $72.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 25.75 to trade at $2,733.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.24% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.36.
