Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 2.10%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Forestry&Paper sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 2.10%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Douja Prom Addoha (CSE:ADH), which rose 9.97% or 3.16 points to trade at 34.86 at the close. Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) added 9.91% or 108.00 points to end at 1,198.00 and Alliances (CSE:ADI) was up 7.64% or 22.00 points to 310.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Involys (CSE:INV), which lost 2.93% or 2.90 points to trade at 96.10 in late trade. Cartier Saada (CSE:CRS) declined 1.40% or 0.49 points to end at 34.50 and Ennakl Automobiles (CSE:NKL) shed 1.26% or 0.42 points to 33.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 39 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.43% or 0.30 to $70.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.28% or 0.21 to hit $74.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 18.75 to trade at $2,710.05 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.04% to 10.73, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.00% to 9.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 103.60.
