Indonesia shares higher at close of trade; Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite up 0.03%

Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.03%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Dinar Indonesia Tbk (JK:DNAR), which rose 34.78% or 32.00 points to trade at 124.00 at the close. Sentral Mitra Informatika Tbk PT (JK:LUCK) added 28.99% or 20.00 points to end at 89.00 and Natura City Developments Tbk PT (JK:CITY) was up 28.09% or 25.00 points to 114.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK:DADA) shed 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 300 to 290 and 246 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $70.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $74.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 14.85 to trade at $2,693.75 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.38% to 15,504.60, while AUD/IDR fell 0.62% to 10,369.48.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 103.18.
