Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which rose 2.38% or 85.00 points to trade at 3,650.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) added 2.22% or 380.00 points to end at 17,460.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) was up 1.64% or 580.00 points to 35,980.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA), which lost 1.40% or 880.00 points to trade at 62,020.00 in late trade. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) declined 1.20% or 30.00 points to end at 2,465.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) shed 1.02% or 120.00 points to 11,600.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 4.08% or 10.50 to $246.85 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.22% or 86.00 to hit $6,983.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.90 to trade at $2,661.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,214.41, while BRL/COP fell 0.53% to 766.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.26.
