Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23% to hit a new 6-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 6.66% or 94.00 points to trade at 1,504.50 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 1.99% or 2.60 points to end at 133.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.59% or 2.20 points to 140.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which lost 5.16% or 530.00 points to trade at 9,740.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 5.02% or 500.00 points to end at 9,470.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) shed 2.49% or 10.70 points to 418.30.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 64 to 60 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.69% or 0.51 to $74.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.64% or 0.50 to hit $78.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.70 to trade at $2,676.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.61% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 102.37.
