Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) added 2.91% or 800.00 points to end at 28,300.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 2.86% or 1,580.00 points to 56,800.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 3.82% or 130.00 points to end at 3,270.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) shed 2.65% or 880.00 points to 32,320.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.42% or 6.05 to $255.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.77% or 222.00 to hit $7,788.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.80 to trade at $2,560.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.00% to 4,041.96, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 733.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.46.
