Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Etb (BVC:ETB) added 1.88% or 1.50 points to end at 81.50 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was up 1.21% or 680.00 points to 56,660.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 3.16% or 300.00 points to end at 9,200.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) shed 2.40% or 50.00 points to 2,035.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.01% or 0.02 to $248.48 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.36% or 27.50 to hit $7,667.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.35 to trade at $2,550.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,027.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.43% to 734.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 101.04.
