IBC Q2 2026 Earnings: Net Income and EPS Fall 4.3%

IBC’s Q2 2026 earnings showed net income of $95.8 million and diluted EPS of $1.54, both down 4.3% from a year earlier. For the first six months, net income edged up 0.5% to $198.0 million as interest earned on larger loan and investment portfolios and lower deposit interest expense supported results. Net loans reached about $9.7 billion at June 30, up from $9.3 billion at year-end, while higher credit-loss provisions linked to loan growth and non-accrual balances offset part of the benefit.
