LyondellBasell Q2 2026 Earnings: Supply Tightness Expands Polymer Margins

LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $9.18 billion, up about 20% from $7.66 billion a year earlier, while diluted EPS rose to $1.71 from $0.34. Net income reached $559 million, and EBITDA excluding identified items was $2.13 billion as supply disruptions improved polymer margins and co-product pricing. GAAP earnings absorbed $842 million of after-tax identified items, led by the European asset divestiture. Operating cash flow totaled $752 million despite working-capital use, and LYB expects lower Q3 operating rates across its O&P and I&D assets.
