GlobalFoundries Q2 2026 earnings: Revenue rose 6% as gross margin expanded

GlobalFoundries’ Q2 2026 revenue rose 6% year over year to $1.786 billion, while IFRS diluted EPS fell to $0.30 from $0.41. IFRS gross margin expanded 410 basis points to 28.3%, but higher R&D and SG&A spending reduced operating profit and net income. Operating cash flow was $405 million, while adjusted free cash flow slipped to negative $3 million as investment spending increased.
