Eaton Q2 2026 earnings: Organic growth lifted sales while GAAP profit fell

Eaton’s Q2 2026 earnings showed revenue of $8.53 billion, up 21% year over year, including 14% organic growth and 7% from acquisitions. Adjusted EPS rose 7% to a record $3.15, but GAAP EPS fell to $2.11 from $2.51 as acquisition and divestiture charges, intangible amortization, higher interest expense and taxes weighed on reported profit. Segment margin was 23.1%, while free cash flow increased 22% to $874 million. Eaton raised full-year organic growth and adjusted EPS guidance as Electrical and Aerospace orders and backlogs accelerated.
