Dominion Energy Q2 2026 earnings: Operating EPS rises as GAAP profit falls

Dominion Energy reported second-quarter 2026 operating revenue of $4.48 billion, up about 18% year over year, while GAAP diluted EPS fell to $0.37 from $0.88. Non-GAAP operating earnings increased to $712 million, or $0.79 per share, as Dominion Energy Virginia offset weaker contributions from South Carolina, Contracted Energy, and Corporate and Other. The sharp GAAP decline reflected impairment-related and regulated asset retirement charges, partly offset by nuclear decommissioning trust gains. The company reaffirmed full-year operating EPS guidance of $3.45 to $3.69.
