AMD Q2 2026 earnings: Data Center revenue more than doubles

AMD’s Q2 2026 revenue rose 50% year over year to $11.536 billion, while GAAP diluted EPS increased to $1.38 from $0.54. Data Center revenue more than doubled to $6.718 billion and accounted for 58% of company sales, supported by demand for EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs. Profitability also improved, although the year-over-year margin comparison benefited from $800 million of export-control-related inventory and associated charges recorded in Q2 2025. Management expects Data Center sales growth to accelerate in the second half of 2026.
