Okta shares surged 20.7% in premarket trading after the identity security company beat second-quarter earnings expectations and raised full-year guidance, signaling strong momentum in AI-driven security demand.

Salesforce lifted its annual revenue and profit forecasts on Wednesday and rolled out a new plug-in combining its capabilities with Anthropic's Claude AI models, sending its shares up 13.1% in premarket trading.

CrowdStrike beat second-quarter earnings estimates and raised its annual revenue forecast, as demand for its cloud-based cybersecurity platform continued to grow. Shares of the Austin, Texas-based company rose 9.3% in premarket trading.

Tenable Holdings shares rose 7.3% in premarket trading following the announcement that the company will join the S&P SmallCap 600 index. The cybersecurity firm will replace Leggett & Platt Inc. in the index effective prior to the opening of trading on Monday, August 31.

Hybrid cloud company Nutanix reported fourth quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations, with shares rising 6.3% following the announcement.

Baidu shares rose 4.5% in premarket trading. Baidu announced that its voluntary conversion from a secondary to a primary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will take effect on September 1, 2026. This change makes Baidu a dual-primary listed company on both the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Global Select Market in the U.S.

HP said its PC unit shipments and margins declined in the third quarter as price increases to offset rising memory chip costs proved to be insufficient, sending its shares down 8.9% in premarket trading.

Wendy’s shares plunged 13.6% in premarket trading after Reuters reported that Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management has no current plans to make a bid for the struggling burger chain, reversing much of a takeover-driven rally earlier this month.
