24H | Moderna and TotalEnergies Jump 8%; GitLab Drops 8%; Arbutus Biopharma Sinks 12%

Moderna has agreed to pay Genevant Sciences, a subsidiary ​of Roivant Sciences, and Arbutus Biopharma up to $2.25 billion to settle ‌a long-running legal fight over the technology that made its COVID-19 vaccine possible, the companies said. Moderna shares jumped 7.5% in overnight trading, while Arbutus Biopharma dropped 12.4%.

TotalEnergies has agreed to divest a 50% stake in 11 battery storage projects in Germany, with a combined capacity ranging from 789MW to 1.63 gigawatt-hours (GWh), to Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI). TotalEnergies shares gained 7.5% in overnight trading.

GitLab expects sales to slow this year and outlined several initiatives to help boost guidance that its chief executive officer described as disappointing. The shares sank 8% in overnight trading.
