Ethereum (ETH) has rallied 1.45% over the last 24 hours to $4,313.21, extending its 7-day and 30-day gains. The second-largest crypto has surpassed Mastercard with a nearly $520 billion market cap, driven by surging trading volumes.
ETH has become the 22nd largest asset by market cap. It is currently trading at $4,305 at press time.
Crypto-linked shares shined in overnight trading. BitMine up 17%; Sharplink and Sequans up 10%; GameSquare and Bit Mining up 9%.
Trump-Linked World Liberty Pitches a $1.5 Billion Crypto Vehicle
Big investors are being sounded out on a plan for World Liberty Financial, the Trump family-backed venture, to set up a public company that would hold its WLFI tokens, joining the boom in digital-asset treasury firms.
The structure of the deal is still being finalized, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be named because the talks are private. The fundraising target is expected to be around $1.5 billion, they added. Big-money investors in the technology and crypto industries have been approached for the venture, according to the people. Discussions are said to be advancing rapidly.
The overall net inflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Thursday was $403.88 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $150.7 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.48%.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on Aug 8 was iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, with a net inflow of $359.98 million. Followed by Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, with a net inflow of 30.49 million, according to SoSoValue.
