Pre-Bell | Wall St Futures Climb; BTCS, Upexi up More Than 7%; ASML Jumps 4%; Tesla, AMD Gain 2%

Wall Street futures ticked up on Monday, fueled by a U.S.–EU trade pact that set an upbeat tone for a high-stakes week featuring megacap earnings, a Fed meeting and a looming U.S. tariff deadline.

At 8:20 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis were up 16 points, or 0.04%, S&P 500 E-minis were up 10.25 points, or 0.16%, and Nasdaq 100 E-minis were up 80.75 points, or 0.34%.

Pre-Market Movers

Tesla rose 1.6% in premarket trading after Trump said he struck a deal to set 15% tariffs on goods from the European Union, including automobiles. Tesla operates Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany. The factory makes Model Y vehicles and battery cells.

Separately, CEO Elon Musk said the electric-vehicle company signed a $16.5 billion deal with Samsung Electronics to produce new-generation chips. "Samsung's giant new Texas fab will be dedicated to making Tesla's next-generation AI6 chip. The strategic importance of this is hard to overstate," Musk said in a post on X. "Samsung currently makes AI4. TSMC will make AI5, which just finished design, initially in Taiwan and then Arizona."

Chip stocks jumped in premarket trading. ASML rose 4%; Applied Materials, Super Micro, AMD up around 2%; Nvidia up 0.6%.

Crypto shares jumped in premarket trading. BTCS, Upexi up more than 7%; GameSquare, BIT Mining, Bit Digital, SharpLink Gaming up more than 4%.

Celcuity stock soared more than 112% in premarket trading. Celcuity announced breakthrough topline results from the PIK3CA wild-type cohort of its Phase 3 VIKTORIA-1 trial evaluating gedatolisib combinations for HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer.

AEye shares gained 16% in premarket trading. Shares gained 292% last week. AEye’s Apollo lidar is now part of the same cutting-edge system that global automotive giants are using to build the cars of tomorrow. With NVIDIA’s integration, Apollo has instant access to a worldwide network of top-tier automakers pushing the boundaries of driverless and next-gen assisted driving.

Alibaba rose nearly 2% in premarket trading. At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Alibaba Group demonstrated its accelerating momentum in applied AI by unveiling a suite of innovations powered by its proprietary Qwen large language models (LLMs).

Lockheed Martin rose 1.3% and RTX gained 1% after Trump said the EU agreed to buy large quantities of military equipment under the trade agreement.

Boeing was up 0.6% in the premarket session. Workers in St. Louis rejected a contract offer, raising the potential for another damaging labor strike at the plane maker in just a few days. A press release from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said more than 3,200 IAM District 837 members at Boeing facilities in St. Louis, St. Charles, Mo., and Mascoutah, Ill., "have overwhelmingly voted to reject the company's contract offer during a vote held on Sunday, July 27," triggering a seven-day cooling-off period before a strike would begin.

Cheniere Energy, a provider of liquefied natural gas, jumped 6% after the EU agreed to buy $750 billion of U.S. energy products, including LNG, oil, and nuclear fuel, under the trade deal.

Nike was rising 3.87% to $79.22 after shares of the athletic apparel maker were upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at J.P. Morgan and the price target was boosted to $93 from $64. The analysts see a multi-year recovery for the company, driving high-teens to 20% annual earnings growth through fiscal 2030, according to the Fly.
