HK Movers | WellCell Jumps 10% After Launching Global Stablecoin Platform

WellCell's stock surged 10% after the company announced the launch of its self-developed global stablecoin-based payment platform.

According to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange announcement, WellCell is entering the crypto‑payments arena and will launch its inaugural mobile app, “Fopay,” on July 21, 2025, offering a one‑stop payment platform. Built on the concept of stablecoin‑based crypto payments, Fopay currently provides stablecoin custody and prepaid‑card payment services through several licensed partners. The Board believes that the introduction of Fopay and this new business segment will allow the Company to explore additional opportunities and deliver enhanced value to shareholders.
