Rare Earth Stocks Jump Again With MP Materials up 12%

Rare earth stocks jumped again in premarket trading on Tuesday. MP Materials rose 12%; NioCorp Developments and USA Rare Earth rose 5%.

Companies linked to rare earth minerals surged last week after the U.S. government announced plans to take a large stake in MP Materials, the operator of the only rare earths mine in the U.S., to help the company boost output of rare earths.
