Semiconductor stocks jumped in Hong Kong with Hua Hong Semi and QPL Int'l up 5%, SMIC up 3%, Shanghai Fudan up 0.9%.

According to The Wall Street Journal, a U.S. official told top global semiconductor makers he wanted to revoke waivers they have used to access American technology in China, people familiar with the matter said, a move that could inflame trade tensions.

Crypto stocks jumped in Hong Kong with ZA Onilne uo 6%, Lianlian DigiTech up 5%, Yeahka up 4%, Linklogis up 1%.
