Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.72%

Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.72%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 1.78% or 3,100.00 points to trade at 177,400.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) added 1.74% or 9.00 points to end at 527.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 1.47% or 670.00 points to 46,220.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Energix (TASE:ENRG), which lost 7.94% or 104.00 points to trade at 1,205.00 in late trade. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 2.39% or 75.00 points to end at 3,060.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) shed 2.04% or 87.00 points to 4,175.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 262 to 206 and 70 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.76% or 1.85 to $68.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.67% or 1.90 to hit $72.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 45.50 to trade at $2,615.60 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.95.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 106.39.
