Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.14%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Personal&Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.14%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.60% or 625.00 points to trade at 11,780.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 5.41% or 580.00 points to end at 11,300.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 4.47% or 6.00 points to 139.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which lost 7.95% or 49.50 points to trade at 573.00 in late trade. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.16% or 33.50 points to end at 1,518.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) shed 1.78% or 14.50 points to 801.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.26% or 0.18 to $68.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.29% or 0.21 to hit $72.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 4.00 to trade at $2,582.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 106.38.
