
Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 2.00% or 280.00 points to trade at 14,280.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) added 1.98% or 700.00 points to end at 36,000.00 and Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) was up 0.14% or 10.00 points to 7,260.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which lost 4.22% or 70.00 points to trade at 1,590.00 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) declined 4.04% or 400.00 points to end at 9,500.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) shed 3.46% or 300.00 points to 8,370.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.81% or 7.18 to $263.03 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 7.25% or 520.00 to hit $7,694.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 13.00 to trade at $2,604.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.74% to 4,436.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.87% to 771.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 105.85.
