Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.82%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil&Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.82%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.67% or 18.00 points to trade at 1,094.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell 0.95% or 100.00 points to end at 10,450.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.04% or 2.80 points to 265.40 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which lost 5.01% or 44.00 points to trade at 833.50 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 3.29% or 4.70 points to end at 138.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) shed 3.23% or 25.00 points to 748.90.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 93 to 30 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.81% or 0.55 to $68.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.71% or 0.51 to hit $72.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 10.80 to trade at $2,606.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 7.03, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 105.96.
