
Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communication and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.82% or 75.00 points to trade at 1,630.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.37% or 410.00 points to end at 17,690.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.86% or 1,590.00 points to 87,290.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which lost 24.71% or 3,630.00 points to trade at 11,060.00 in late trade. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.60% or 50.00 points to end at 1,871.00 and Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) shed 2.51% or 145.00 points to 5,635.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 237 to 215 and 87 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.21% or 2.26 to $68.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.90% or 2.14 to hit $71.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.75% or 74.10 to trade at $2,620.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS fell 0.55% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 105.53.
