Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.24%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Software&Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.24% to hit a new 6-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.73% or 615.00 points to trade at 11,340.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 5.43% or 560.00 points to end at 10,870.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 4.33% or 66.00 points to 1,589.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which lost 5.08% or 43.50 points to trade at 813.50 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 3.38% or 21.50 points to end at 615.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) shed 2.60% or 19.50 points to 730.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $71.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $74.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 25.70 to trade at $2,702.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 104.35.
