Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.35%
Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.42% or 0.05 points to trade at 3.29 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 0.71% or 0.45 points to end at 64.00 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was up 0.51% or 0.04 points to 7.83 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which lost 1.88% or 1.30 points to trade at 67.95 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 1.30% or 0.11 points to end at 8.63 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) shed 1.27% or 0.25 points to 19.49.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 2.45% or 1.79 to $74.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.66% or 1.85 to hit $71.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.65 to trade at $2,744.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.76.
