
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy&Utilities, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212), which rose 7.10% or 11.80 points to trade at 178.00 at the close. Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083) added 5.95% or 3.30 points to end at 58.80 and Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) was up 5.42% or 0.41 points to 7.97 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200), which lost 5.75% or 8.00 points to trade at 131.20 in late trade. Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015) declined 4.60% or 0.11 points to end at 2.28 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) shed 3.37% or 0.44 points to 12.62.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 154 to 143 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.62 to $69.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.87% or 0.63 to hit $72.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 15.70 to trade at $2,785.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 103.75.
