Indonesia shares higher at close of trade; Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite up 1.27%

Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 1.27%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT (JK:RISE), which rose 507.36% or 827.00 points to trade at 990.00 at the close. Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (JK:BNBA) added 346.88% or 555.00 points to end at 715.00 and PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (JK:CYBR) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 330.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Modernland Realty Ltd Tbk (JK:MDLN), which lost 98.90% or 4,599.00 points to trade at 51.00 in late trade. Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) added 0.89% or 1.00 points to end at 113.00 and Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) shed 98.40% or 738.00 points to 12.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 353 to 320 and 168 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.01% or 1.37 to $66.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.83% or 1.31 to hit $70.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.70 to trade at $2,666.10 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.18% to 15,224.10, while AUD/IDR rose 0.12% to 10,517.62.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.65.
