Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.21%
Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 1.36% or 1.25 points to trade at 93.20 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 1.22% or 0.04 points to end at 3.64 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 1.05% or 0.18 points to 17.38 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT), which lost 3.10% or 0.92 points to trade at 28.76 in late trade. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 2.24% or 0.80 points to end at 34.90 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) shed 1.91% or 0.20 points to 10.29.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 76 and 30 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.17% or 0.84 to $72.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.19% or 0.81 to hit $68.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 11.85 to trade at $2,656.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 100.36.
