Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk Pt (JK:VICI), which rose 525.00% or 525.00 points to trade at 625.00 at the close. Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT (JK:RISE) added 507.36% or 827.00 points to end at 990.00 and Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk PT (JK:PSSI) was up 220.00% or 297.00 points to 432.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC), which added 1.43% or 1.00 points to trade at 71.00 in late trade. Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 118.00 and Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) shed 96.77% or 300.00 points to 10.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 397 to 261 and 180 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.68% or 1.18 to $71.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.49% or 1.09 to hit $74.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.75 to trade at $2,653.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.00% to 15,179.50, while AUD/IDR fell 0.04% to 10,375.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.52.
