Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.17%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Healthcare and Software&Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.17%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 4.29% or 7.00 points to trade at 170.10 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 2.85% or 18.00 points to end at 648.50 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 2.59% or 35.50 points to 1,407.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which lost 2.21% or 20.80 points to trade at 921.20 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.06% or 24.50 points to end at 1,166.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) shed 2.03% or 18.70 points to 903.40.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 51 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.12% or 0.77 to $69.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.87% or 0.63 to hit $73.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 14.10 to trade at $2,594.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.58.
