Indonesia shares higher at close of trade; Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite up 0.22%

Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.22% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (JK:AMRT), which rose 697.47% or 2,755.00 points to trade at 3,150.00 at the close. Colorpak Indonesia Tbk (JK:CLPI) added 440.00% or 880.00 points to end at 1,080.00 and Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:BUAH) was up 269.85% or 1,047.00 points to 1,435.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI), which lost 96.00% or 192.00 points to trade at 8.00 in late trade. Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT) declined 95.67% or 4,114.00 points to end at 186.00 and Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk PT (JK:MARI) 0.00% or 0.00 points to 50.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 334 to 283 and 220 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $69.04 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $72.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.65 to trade at $2,609.55 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.33% to 15,324.60, while AUD/IDR fell 0.21% to 10,359.36.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 100.31.
