Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which rose 1.35% or 400.00 points to trade at 30,000.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) added 1.06% or 20.00 points to end at 1,905.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was up 0.83% or 500.00 points to 61,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (BVC:ETB), which lost 6.43% or 5.50 points to trade at 80.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.49% or 480.00 points to end at 10,200.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) shed 2.70% or 340.00 points to 12,260.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.22% or 3.00 to $249.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.25% or 173.50 to hit $7,554.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.76% or 44.65 to trade at $2,587.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,211.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.75% to 748.34.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 101.23.
