Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil&Gas, Healthcare and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 0.68% or 0.03 points to trade at 4.30 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 0.58% or 0.28 points to end at 48.89 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 0.51% or 0.04 points to 8.32 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 9.58% or 1.70 points to trade at 16.05 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 3.15% or 1.52 points to end at 46.79 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) shed 2.30% or 0.80 points to 34.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 124 to 43 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.86% or 1.29 to $70.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.36% or 1.55 to hit $67.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $2,543.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.70.
