Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which rose 4.00% or 680.00 points to trade at 17,680.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) added 3.51% or 420.00 points to end at 12,380.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 3.76% or 75.00 points to end at 1,920.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) shed 3.22% or 580.00 points to 17,420.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.41% or 8.32 to $235.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.04% or 3.00 to hit $7,162.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 16.30 to trade at $2,526.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.14% to 4,173.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.31% to 745.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 101.15.
