Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.21%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil&Gas, Chemicals and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.21%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.37% or 21.20 points to trade at 916.80 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 1.29% or 2.10 points to end at 164.90 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.90% or 11.00 points to 1,236.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 4.08% or 6.30 points to trade at 147.10 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.01% or 12.50 points to end at 608.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) shed 1.56% or 150.00 points to 9,445.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 77 to 49 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.66% or 1.15 to $68.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.61% or 1.17 to hit $71.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.80 to trade at $2,544.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.72, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.99.
