Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which rose 1.95% or 340.00 points to trade at 17,740.00 at the close. Etb (BVC:ETB) added 1.88% or 1.50 points to end at 81.50 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) was up 1.19% or 200.00 points to 17,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which lost 8.76% or 1,100.00 points to trade at 11,460.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.47% or 500.00 points to end at 10,680.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) shed 3.48% or 300.00 points to 8,320.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.12 to $242.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 5.74% or 417.00 to hit $6,853.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.45 to trade at $2,526.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,180.95, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 740.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 101.23.
