Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 9.22% or 1,060.00 points to trade at 12,560.00 at the close. Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) added 4.98% or 1,800.00 points to end at 37,980.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 4.25% or 740.00 points to 18,160.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) declined 3.48% or 300.00 points to end at 8,320.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) shed 1.69% or 300.00 points to 17,400.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.43% or 3.55 to $244.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.76% or 58.00 to hit $7,671.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.10 to trade at $2,531.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,147.26, while BRL/COP rose 0.37% to 738.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 101.57.
