Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 2.02% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 1.88% or 1.50 points to trade at 81.50 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 1.51% or 140.00 points to end at 9,400.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) was up 1.46% or 520.00 points to 36,180.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) declined 2.19% or 700.00 points to end at 31,300.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) shed 2.19% or 55.00 points to 2,460.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.70% or 4.22 to $243.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.88% or 67.00 to hit $7,680.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 24.40 to trade at $2,535.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.31% to 4,180.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.69% to 745.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 101.67.
