Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA), which rose 6.83% or 3,880.00 points to trade at 60,680.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 4.28% or 140.00 points to end at 3,410.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) was up 2.25% or 55.00 points to 2,495.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) declined 2.31% or 280.00 points to end at 11,820.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) shed 2.23% or 720.00 points to 31,600.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.67% or 1.70 to $256.95 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.49% or 195.00 to hit $7,630.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 14.00 to trade at $2,538.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 4,085.73, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 734.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 100.97.
