TradingKey - According to a report by LatePost, multiple sources within Tesla’s supply chain revealed that the company recently issued specific procurement guidance for Optimus components to its suppliers. The guidance requires production capacity to be increased to 1,000 units per week by September this year, with a further increase to between 2,000 and 2,500 units per week by year-end. Based on the projected weekly capacity for the end of the year, suppliers will have the capability to provide components for approximately 100,000 Optimus units annually to Tesla by year-end.
