Optimum Q2 2026 earnings: Margins improved as cash flow weakened

Optimum’s Q2 2026 revenue fell 5.8% year over year to $2.02 billion, while its GAAP diluted loss widened to $0.67 per share from $0.21. Adjusted EBITDA declined 2.2% to $785.7 million, but margin expanded 140 basis points to 38.8% as costs fell. Operating cash flow dropped 44.6%, producing a $91.9 million free cash flow deficit despite lower capital spending. Broadband losses totaled 40,000, while mobile added about 50,000 lines. Consolidated net debt was $25.33 billion at quarter-end.
