Goodyear Q2 2026 earnings: Lower tire volume widens the adjusted loss

Goodyear’s Q2 2026 net sales fell 4.8% to $4.25 billion as tire unit volume declined 4.0%, while diluted GAAP EPS swung to a $0.71 loss from $0.87 of earnings a year earlier. Adjusted net loss widened to $177 million, and segment operating income dropped to $36 million as lower volume, tariffs, other costs and inflation outweighed pricing and Goodyear Forward benefits. Asia Pacific improved, but Americas replacement weakness remained the main drag. The planned Fayetteville closure targets approximately $270 million of annual operating-income improvement beginning in 2028.
