Spot Bitcoin ETF inflows run six days straight, but daily totals shrink for a third session
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of approximately $191 million on Thursday, marking their sixth straight day of net inflows.
The total streak is now more than $2.8 billion, although Thursday’s tally was the smallest since the streak’s first day, September 17.
Demand fades 81% from Monday’s 2026 record
Thursday’s $191 million was 81% below Monday’s $999 million. Monday saw the biggest single-day haul of 2026.
Tuesday took in $714.75 million, Wednesday $347 million, Thursday $191 million. The tally continued to mount as demand fell off for three sessions in a row.
Monday’s record, set on September 21, was the biggest daily tally for US spot Bitcoin ETFs since early October 2025, according to Cryptopolitan. It happened as Bitcoin briefly topped $87,000.
Bitcoin has since pulled back to ~$83,800. The price is still up about 3.6% over the week.
BlackRock’s IBIT out-draws the other 11 funds combined
BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $162.63 million of Thursday’s total. The rest of the field split what was left.
Fidelity’s FBTC added $12.86 million, while Morgan Stanley’s MSBT took in $10.16 million. Franklin’s EZBC and Bitwise’s BITB yielded $4.88 million and $4.13 million, respectively.
WisdomTree’s BTCW was the only fund with outflows, at $4.02 million. IBIT soaked up about $1.35 billion over the six sessions, close to half the category’s take.
The 12 funds had a turnover of $2.27 billion. Total combined net assets ended near $108.92 billion.
Ether products continued their own run to five sessions with $66.01 million.
The co-founder and chief executive of Glider, Brian Huang, said bitcoin futures open interest is back to May levels.
Of that, about $3.3 billion is on Hyperliquid’s BTC perpetuals. A negative basis with increasing open interest indicates new shorts are being placed, Huang said.
